Some of Lifewise’s services will be unavailable or will have limited capacity over the holiday season. Here’s the list of our holiday hours schedule for your easy reference:

Holiday Hours

Merge Café

Closed: 20th December – 6th January
Outreach will continue except on statutory days

ECE Centres

Last Day Open: Tuesday, 24th December
Reopens: Wednesday, 8th January (except Royal Road, which reopens on 13th January 2025)

Family Services
(Mana Whānau, Parenting Education, Toku Whānau)

Closed: Friday, 20th December 2024
Reopens: Monday, 6th January 2025
Reduced Office Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm, with a skeleton team available to support Mana Whānau whānau during the closure period

Health and Disability Services
(Homecare Services, Disability Support Services, The Loneliness Project)

Operating as usual throughout the holiday period (except on public holidays)
Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Gordon House, 227 Mount Eden Road

Community Housing Services
(Housing First, Youth Housing, Community Housing, Sustaining Tenancies & Navigating Services)

Housing First: The Vincent Street office will be open from 9:00am – 4:00pm, except on weekends and statutory holidays. No new referrals will be taken from the 13th of December – 6th January. Email enquiries to hfoffice@lifewise.org.nz

Sustaining Tenancies & Navigating Services: Referrals will continue, email referrals through to sustainingtenancies@lifewise.org.nz . We will be closed on weekends and statutory holidays

Youth Housing: Will not be taking any new referrals from the 13th of December – 6th January: Email enquiries to youthhousing@lifewise.org.nz

Navigator Services: If you require emergency housing between the 20th of December – 6th January, please contact MSD 0800559009

Rotorua

Mangatakitahi / Housing First: 8:30am – 5:00pm (except on public holidays)
Supported Accommodation / Residential: Continued 24/7
Transitional Housing / Supported Housing Pathways: Continued 24/7
