Not everyone has a home for Christmas. This is the reality for many of our homeless whānau.
As we approach the festive season, it’s a time for reflection and giving. While many of us prepare to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones, it’s important to remember that not everyone has the luxury of a home to return to during the holidays. For many of our homeless whānau, this is a harsh reality, one that they face not just at Christmas but throughout the year.
Yesterday, we launched our Christmas Appeal Campaign on social media. The campaign features powerful images of a makeshift dwelling that one of our whānau previously called home. They lived in a space that was unsafe and unsuitable, trying to survive in a world where they felt invisible. The images of their previous living conditions—shown in the campaign—are a stark reminder of the challenges that so many in our community face.
At Lifewise, we’re on a mission to provide safe spaces and support for our homeless whānau not just this holiday season but all year round.
Will you help us give the gift of warmth, safety & hope this Christmas?
Supporting LIFEWISE means you are helping give hope, opening doors to new opportunities, and offering a fresh start to those in need. Your generosity is crucial in helping New Zealand’s most vulnerable individuals turn their lives around and embrace a future filled with promise.
